“Note To Self” - FROM FIRST TO LAST

Posted on June 13th, 2007 in Music by dym-dym

Two roads… split off from here,
and my life goes running in opposite directions.
Exaggerating the barrier between who I am, and who I want to be.

I wanted to be that breath of fresh air,
When everything smelled so insincere.
But this taste still lingers in my mouth,
Deceit has ways of sticking around.
And I’m ready to disappear,
Vacation seems far, seems far from here.

Note to self: I miss you terribly.
This is what we call a tragedy.
Come back to me, come back to me, to me.
Note to self: I miss you terribly.
This is what we call a tragedy.
Come back to me, back to me, to me.

I can feel my mind, wandering again.
Into where I don’t know, and will I ever get home?
Time starts moving, faster than I can.
And I’m sick of this scene,
I need a break from routine.

I can feel my mind, wandering again.
Into where I don’t know, and will I ever get home?
Time starts moving, faster than I can.
And I’m sick of this scene,
I need a break from routine.

Two roads… split off from here,
and my life goes running in opposite directions.
Exaggerating the barrier between who I am, and who I want to be.

Which part of me is lost? I feel so close, and yet I am so far.
Which part of me is lost? I feel so close, and yet I am so…far!…

Call to the Bar

Posted on June 1st, 2007 in Life, Work by dym-dym

Woot! Today is my admission to the Bar! It has been such a looong time since I last wrote in this Blog. Ain’t got the time, usually. But today, I dun feel like working x_x Hehehehe… Yeah, although I have an opinion to rush, but -_-" Later lar…

I am so happy today! Puan Hendon moved my call today. I am so happy and proud! Puan Hendon is very, very nice! She was there very early. The call was supposed to start at 9.00 a.m. Several minutes past 8.00 a.m. Puan Hendon was already there. On Wednesday before the Call day, she actually went to take a look at the Shah Alam High Court so that she’s familiar with the road to go there. I felt bad that she had to go into all this trouble just to move my call though… But she is really, really so nice. She doesn’t normally moves a Call at Shah Alam, and I am so extremely happy and grateful that she moved mine. Yup, it’s a special day in my life and of course I want a special person to move my Call. Puan Hendon is a dear lecturer to me. She is an example of a very noble person of the Bar.

My pupil Master, Mr. Lambert was there as well. I really love him! He is so nice to come all the way to Shah Alam just to attend my Call and to robe me. ^_^ He’s a dear… I am so lucky to have him as my pupil Master. Hmm… Life is good!

My parents and my sister were there as well. As well as some friends and colleagues. Himah, Conrad, Asnie and Munirah were there for the Call. And later on, my cousin, Terry and an ol’ fren, Dol came as well. It’s really, really a very exciting day for me. It’s unfortunate though that some of my other friends couldn’t come… But it’s okay. It’s the thought that counts, right? I am blessed with good friends all around me, and I really thank God for that! ^_^ Yup, life is GOOD! ^_^

Hmm… Actually, the Call was quite funny and different from any other Calls that I’ve seen before this. Well, in the first place, it’s at a Criminal Court. Since Shah Alam doesn’t have an Appellate & Special Power Courts like the one in KL, the Call was at a Criminal Court. I don’t really mind the Court actually, although it did sound weird in the first place. But then again, I don’t got the chance to go to a Criminal Court so often, so it’s kinda good. Plus, it’s Mahkamah Tinggi Jenayah 3, the Court for the Abdul Razak Baginda. So, Y.A. Dato’ Mohd Zaki was the Corum for my Call… Good, eh. Something memorable. ^_^

And yeah, well… Since it’s a Criminal Court, they actually had some Mentions of Criminal Cases before the Call! I was quite suprise when I saw some accused being brought into the Court with hand-cuffs!!! The first thing that came to my mind was that what would my sister think? It was quite funny though… At least, my sister got the chance to see real life Court proceeding in a Criminal Case and to see how the accused were being handled by the polices and the Court staffs. =p

Oh well… In the end, everything went well anyway… ^_^
